It is with a saddened heart to let you know another GF Class of 1978 member has passed. Jimmy Johnson, died Sunday, August 14th at the home of his sister Debbie (Johnson) Todd. The memorial service will be Sunday, August 21st at the Woodbridge Moose Lodge in Lorton, VA. at 3:00 pm.

Samuel Browne, Jr 50, of Montclair,VA died peacefully at his home after a 10 year courageous battle with a cancerous brain tumor. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Brown Sr., and his former wife, Diedra Vaught. Samuel is survived by his Mother, Alice M, his sister, Alice Buck, and his brother, Michael. Family and friends will be received at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City,VA 22193 on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm. A graveside service will be held in Pennslyvania, at Arlington Cemetery 2900 State Road, Drexel Hill, PA 19026 on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 2pm.

Gar-Field High School Class of 1978, Jeffery L. Martin, age 50, passed away on April 26, 2011. After graduation, Jeff enlisted in the Air Force where he performed jet aircraft repair. After the Air Force, Jeff was employed at Atlantic Research. Shortly thereafter, he found his dream job as a master diver and instructor in the Florida Keys. Mr. Martin returned to Virginia and was employed at Master Print. Yes, I worked with Jeff for a couple of years until he found another job as a car dealer transporter. Jeff is survived by his loving daughter, Sadie, his parents, Dave and Judy, and his grandmother. A service in his honor will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints. Burial will be later in Oxford, Michigan.
